    Ya we are very lucky right now in New England, some of the best breweries in the US are located within a few hours of one another.

    This one falls under a slightly less severe category for me: “good enough beer, but very overrated in my opinion.” I can drink a pint just fine but forcing grapefruit to an already grapefruit-ish beer makes it lose something for me. Also in this category is Pliny the Younger (but not the Elder, which I actually prefer over the Y even not taking into account price/scarcity.)

    I mean they are decent, sure. But lets look at the facts. My favorites are often fruited sours (almanac, JK, bruery, even Riserva) which are more beer for the buck and dramatically better. but we all have our opinions

    Lol. I was thinking that would happen. Since I don't know if it's sarcasm or not I like pilsners, euro lagers, ambers/red ales. Hefeweizen and marzen. I do occasionally like IPAs but find them all similar. But I do like hoppy lagers

    Tl;dr. I like balance.

    Darklord! Ive opened a few now (12, 13) and they have been a huge disappointment. I checked the gravity with a refractometer and it was 1.100, that's insanely too sweet

    yep, I'll chime in with DFH 60, 90, 120... unbalanced IMO 120 especially. I really don't like super boozy hoppy beers
    and bell's 2 hearted... yawn
    and everything I've tried from Maine brewing (had about 4 different brews) yawn again.
