Arctic Devil is great, and only $13-$14 most places. Super deal

    BCBBW is also great

    Mother of All stoms

    Deal with the Devil

I REALLY need to try Straight Jacket. Have loved everything I've had from Revolution and I'm sure this would be no different. Glad you enjoyed London Balling. The guys that opened the brewery are good buddies and that's one of the best beers they make. Cheers!

Best of all - Alpine Great
Best with some availability - ADWTD
    Best Value - CW BBBW

I usually prefer regular barleywines to BA barleywines, but Brooklyn's Hand and Seal was pretty outstanding

Ya CW BBBW is my all time favorite.

Weyerbacher Insanity is ok for a change of pace.

Central Waters BBA Barleywine. For my money, I think it's better than Bourbon County Barleywine. More depth of flavor, a little fuller, a little more well-rounded.

Draft only so far, they just picked up a major distributor instead of self distributing so some of their stuff may get to travel. Every one is a winner, but this BW is awesome.

As much as I love FW Sucaba, here on the east coast it's almost impossible to find, and you won't be able to buy more than a bottle (if you're supremely lucky that day). If you have a case I'd love to trade for a bottle...

I'm looking at all these answers with jealousy. So many good BABW's; Very few available in New England.

Or, very few, as the person above me said, that are not "impossible to find, and won't be able to buy more than a bottle (if you're supremely lucky that day)."

As much as I loath Bourbon County Stout, the barleywine really is very nice.

Others that are great and vary in attainability are as follows:

    Midnight Sun Arctic Devil
    Alpine Great
    Pelican Mother of all Storms
    Driftwood Old Barrel Dweller
    BA Thor's Hammer
    BA Hi-Fi Rye
    BA Fireside Chat
Anchorage A Deal with the Devil

Emelisse makes some outstanding BA barleywines here in Holland but I doubt they are available in North America. They have really been impressive in the BA department over the last couple of years.

I like this one better than CWBBW. They had a variant aged with nuts this past weekend that was AMAZING! It was my favorite tap of the weekend at the release party.
