Narragansett Summer 2015 - Not Again...

Question about the retro cans: I think the 1980 lager cans are out now, but the 12 packs in my local place (in Portland, Maine) are the 1953 cans. Are both in circulation now, or are the 1980s not out yet?

Bought a 6 pack of regular Lager 16oz cans tonight $5.99. Great beer and best value around!

 

Tried my 1st few cans of the Summer Ale today, thought it was as good as ever. Nice slight lemony hop bite, a bit cracker-y mouth feel, very drinkable. Definitely will be in my summer rotation.

 

This has been my fridge beer lately. Tasting really good! All cans I've purchased are form March and April. Anyone know if they do May or June batches. Or does Gansett just make a couple batches prior to summer? Then when its gone its gone.

 

They renamed and rebranded this as "Summertime Citra Ale" and its a lot better than its been the past few years.

 

Do you know where it was brewed this year?

Anyone bought 'Gansett Summer yet this year? Any thoughts on whether it changed again or stayed similar to last summer?

 

I had a couple on tap playing golf on Monday. Can't comment on changes, but they were tasty. No complaints here.
