Central Waters BBA Barley Wine, really good fresh, way better at 6+ months.
    Olde Hickory Omega Point
    PipeWorks BA Murderous
    Revolution Straight Jacket
    Goose Island BA Barley Wine

    Pretty much in that order.

Can someone list the BA barleywines that are the CLOSEST in flavor profile to Bourbon County Barrel Aged Barleywine? Thanks

BBA flying Mouflan was amazing. I did a tasting with some friends of this Sucuba and BCBW and while all were excellent, all of us like the flying Mouflan best.

Good to hear, I see the reviews are stellar as well. I have a bottle of the base and will drink together once I have some help.

Honestly BC barley is probably closet to CW BBBW. CW is better IMO

Forgot to include Bolt Cutter. Duh! It was that good that I had to quote my own post.

I have a 14.4% Bourbon cask aged Barleywine (that was brewed in England) waiting to be opened. I'm fairly confident that this will be the best one I've had.

I was not crazy about last years CW BW reserve. It wasn't as smooth as I expected. I am surprised that it received so many acknowledgements. I admit that it was tasty. I am going to age the remaining 4 bottles.

Its really so tough. So many good ones out there. I had Blighs last month and it is hands down my favorite so far. Need to get more of it.

Honorable mention to Sucaba, Cereal Killer, BCBBW, MOAS, Straight Jacket

It carries a nice price tag though. I couldn't pull the trigger on this one

Picked up some Arctic Devil yesterday after seeing all the mentions...probably the easiest drinking BBA BW I've had, not boozy at all. A little too sweet for my taste but still really good. I had FW DDBA '14 and Hammerhead '15 in the past week and Arctic Devil beats them out IMO.
