New to Ohio (2015)

    Anyone been to the Cleveland Brewery on East 185th? Looks like it's only open Friday evenings.

    Funny, this is almost the exact opposite of my experience. I like Rhinegeist the best of the breweries mentioned and everything I've tried from Listermann's has ranged from mediocre to horrendous. The gose I tried at their taproom is maybe the worst beer I've ever struggled to consume. Their taproom is awful, too. They served my beer in a plastic cup.

    I mention this not to start a fight or cause animosity, just to point out the difference that personal preference can make.

    100% on the Jackie O's train, though. We should all be agreeing on that.

    I had my first Jackie O's last year. A Dark App. I loved it. Fantastic beer. However, I will likely never drink more than a couple ever again. So many great options to be had at the price point or lower.

    Looking forward to trying their BA beers and I will fork over the $12, but I suspect my reaction will be the same as the non-BA version.

    Last night I was a lil buzzed (thanks Delly!) This was pretty much exatly what I was trying say though. Good stuff, just theres comprable stuff at much lower prices.

    I kinda said this in an earlier post(albeit ambiguously), but I buy Jackie O's because it's great beer and because I like the people that brew said beer. If I make @beace and Art rich from that, it's a perk as far as I'm concerned. Maybe they will still acknowledge me as they step out the limo.

    Does anyone definitively know if HW will be available in Ohio/Columbus soon? I may **** for some but if I can get it myself soon id rather not pay the incremental shipping costs.

    Well I called Root Cellar and JJ and both claimed they've never heard of it. I found out Cappy's got some and kept it quiet. It would have been nice to know since I asked them about it 2 months ago and spend a lot of money there. Oh well, sour grapes and all that...

    It seems that CBus is behind Cleveland on these deliveries. I think it was 2 or 3 weeks after Cleveland for us to get BA Bigfoot.

    It was a pretty hyped up release but I don't think anyone had any idea that there was gonna be so much produced. Lots of it sitting on the shelves everywhere
