Houblon Chouffe - What beers are like it?

    My buddy brought a bottle back with him from Belgium. We are going to brew a clone of it and I was hoping to grab a few bottles to drink while we brewed. I can't find it anywhere so does anyone know any beers that are similar or anyone seen any bottles in New England?

    Chouffe is pretty widely available around here. Where are you located? I see it all the time at Julio's in Westboro, I think the Craft Beer Cellars carry it. I'm sure any decent liquor store will have it (can't guarantee freshness at all of them, of course.)

    The Berkshires. I've seen La Chouffe (there regular if you can call it that at 8% Blonde) at one store, but i'm looking for Houblon Chouffe the IPA leaning Tripel version.

    Craft Beer Cellar definitely carries it and a wide range of other Belgian beers.

    OK, I wasn;t sure which version - but Julio's does carry all of them. La Chouffe, Houblon, McChouffe...

    Duvel Tripel Hop is pretty similar too, can probably find that at any decent beer store.
