Anyone found any surprisingly good mixed 12 packs for Summer yet? Harpoon put out a cool UFO mixed pack of cans and Two Road's may have the coolest looking pack, but I haven't tasted anything surprising yet.

Otter Creek Mixed Bag is great! A good variety of citrusy IPAs

Victory's looks solid. Baxter's is worth a shot if you prefer cans.

The new Sierra Nevada is outstanding. They've been killing it with 12-packs all year. The new Kölsch is wicked tasty.

Citra Mantra? Was it brewed recently? I had an old one at a party last weekend that paled in comparison to the few I had fresh last year. I've got one of the Jack's Abby 12 packs in my basement right now and will continue buying them as long as I can. Probably throw a Sierra Nevada in there as well.

The Jack's pack is solid and affordable. That would be my first choice

I meant from the brewery. Haven't seen it here in Fairfield County (my places anyway) but good to know ... thanks

I drain poured my Citra Mantra. All three guests concurred. And it was fresh. I had the same problem with Overgrown, and a guy who owns a craft beer cellar and loves the beer pronounced my batch instant drain pour. It was fresh too. Quality control problems or something.

I think mine was brewed in January, so probably different batches. Mine didn't taste bad or anything, just like a very faded version of itself. I just thought that their Citra Mantra was a first quarter seasonal and that anything that would be going into current mix packs might be old. Can't speak to any current quality concerns.

Just picked up the Newport Storm one. Hurricane Amber, IPA, Hefeweizen, and Pilsner. Amber is good. I dont get the low ratings at all. Its hoppy and flavorful. Hefe and Pilsner are well crafted and flavorful and not watered down. Havent had the IPA yet but I had it a while ago and cant remember it. Seems like a good pack overall.
