Try it yet? I had the last "test batch" and unfortunately not as great as last year. Crushable well balanced session IPA kind of beer but will miss last years recipe / collab...
    Enjoy PDX!

I've yet to have the "final" version, but I preferred Overdub over Beta 8.0, 8.1 and 8.2.

Oh. c'mon, it was only one pallet, but I will admit our man Dave did a great job of recreating the Burj Kalifah out of it. To be honest, I would have preferred buying less, but I after the supply issues last year I wanted to make sure I had at least 7 days worth on hand. We're also coming up on Memorial Weekend, so I have to project heavier.

Also, I think the beer is pretty tasty. It's definitely lighter and less alcoholic than last year, but as a summer seasonal I dig it. It's dry, but carries enough malt presence that it doesn't taste like "hop water" like some of the other "session IPAs" that I've had. Sure, it doesn't have the punch of last year's version, but they're obviously going on a different tack for this year.

The tower was depleted a bit by the time I took this, but here you go:

Nice to see this thread unfolding pretty much like I said it would in post #11.

What do you have against giant stacks of good beer?

I stopped by Belmont Station this afternoon and picked up a 4-pack. Definitely enjoy it and I'm sure I'll be drinking plenty this summer.

Was able to enjoy this at the brewery yesterday. Def. not last years but good nonetheless. Echoing the other comments, it is drier and lighter and is well crafted. It will be part of the summer rotation for sure.

    ha, nothing at all

I drank one last night, but I was fairly good & toast by the time I did. I do recall liking it quite a bit, has a lot more flavor than a "session" beer (which it's not). I wrote this on Untappd: "Excellent collab IPA. Toasted grains. Juicy grapefruit hops. Creamy feel. Very tasty. 4.03"

Gabe brought some over for my birthday. I thought it was okay, but definatly in the mid pile of IPA's. I would drink it, but I thought last year was perfection. I know they are mixing it up, but damn it was really too good last year. If it wasn't for all the awesome IPA's we are blessed with I would probably think differently, but sadly I've been spolied.

Pretty hard to replace last years 3-Way. Looking forward to trying it though.
