Has the bottle limit for Duet, Nelson and Pure Hoppiness changed? Is it still set at 3 bottles each? Thanks.

Heading to Alpine tomorrow. Is Hoppy Birthday from Alpine or from Green Flash (growler fills)?

From their FB page, it seems like its from Alpine. Someone asked and they replied with a picture stating "brewed and bottled in Alpine, CA" but they don't bottle HB...

Go on their website and they have a webcam up and you can see what is available in bottles and growler fills

Yes, the people here know that. What they were asking is if the beer itself was brewed at Alpine or if it was brewed at Green Flash. With Hoppy Birthday, it might be difficult to know for certain (since they don't do bottles of it), but this is pretty much the fresh batch they rolled out a few weeks back.

Don't worry about it. Just go to bed.

I'll go to bed after I drink an Alpine bottle. But no growlers. Unless brewed at Alpine.
I asked because all of the kegs that's been showing up all over the country has been brewed at GF. Even Hoppy Birthday. I had some in Tucson back in Feb this year. And yes it was off.

With Nelson, if you get about two weeks out from its last bottle date, you may see kegs at the pub and the brewery (i.e. growler fills) with GF Nelson. Getting it the week of is the best way to go. To a lesser degree that has happened with Duet, too.

Hoppy Birthday is a bit more tricky, because you don't have a bottle release to help you figure out the source. Recently Alpine has released a Hoppy Bday keg - maybe a few weeks ago? - and I think what is at the pub is Alpine produced. If not, it probably is just about as good.

Anywhere else - hard to say. O'Brien's uses special tap handles to signify the source. Not sure if Toro or Hammy's does that or even tells you where it came from. Anywhere else - you are getting GF on draft.

Thanks man. I will bring for a fill. The last few pints of HB I had was not what I expected. Thanks for the heads up. I see fresh Nelson bottles too. Heading to Alpine later this afternoon. I always stop in Societe on way back to HB for growler fills. But I was going to stop at Saint Archer after Societe. Never been. Been to Modern Tones.

FYI - They will be moving to their new location in a couple of weeks. But the brewery will remain at the same location. Bottles are still coming from "Alpine".

It's why I went up on Tuesday. And Nelson.

Will they sell bottles at the new place, or will we need to make a second stop down the road a bit?

    And growlers for that matter.

Bottles and growler fills at the new place I think I was told yesterday. And when GF starts bottling Alpine beers they will have to put on the label that it was "brewed at GF". Alpine will still bottle too. So we should be able to tell which is from Alpine and which is from GF.
