I'm having trouble locating Westified in cbus

 

Should be at Cornerstone tomorrow. Although the guy thats been ordering has been royally fucking up lately.

 

As am I - my usual spot isn't getting it. Will places like whole foods and andersons get it?

 

I went to the Whole Foods in Dublin last night and asked about Westified. The guy there (who was really nice btw) said that they weren't getting it. Not only that, he had been around to other places (Andersons, Kenny Road, maybe somewhere else) and those other places weren't getting it either. Very surprising, considering that someone had mentioned a Giant Eagle getting some. At this point, I figure it's either:

• A giant conspiracy where everyone is pretending we're not getting it
• We're not getting any substantial amount
• No one has any idea and maybe we'll get it in the future

and I assume I won't be getting any, at least in bottles. But at least I did get a bottle of Wood Ya Honey ($12).

Other quick hits that I meant to mention:

• Wolf's Ridge is killing it. My wife and I went there for dinner a couple of weeks ago. Awesome food and beer, both. It's probably my favorite restaurant that I've been to since I moved here 5 years ago. The beers (I had a flight) were just super well done and very clean. Then, more recently, I had a habanero IPA from them at the Pint Room and it was fantastic. I look forward to getting more from them.
• If anyone in Dublin has an extra 2015 Dark Lord they want to swap for a 750 of Cantillon Kriek or Rose (or a 375 of each), let me know.

I've been really impressed with a few of their small batch beers, especially the Dire Wolf variants. Canis Mexicanus totally exceeded my expectations. Hunaphu's is probably my favorite beer and they came pretty damn close to nailing the style. It wasn't quite as complex and didn't warm as well as the hype monsters of the style, but damned if it wasn't one of the best beers I've had that was brewed here in Cbus. The coffee variants and their Citrus Surf Driftwood also really stood out. Doesn't hurt that their taproom is absolutely gorgeous and within biking distance.

 

And they do a damn good brunch on Sundays that I recommend looking into if you haven't been yet. Food was killer in general, but they also make their own donuts in house that are amazing. Oh, and the beer flight was really good, too.

 

Is anyone going to the wolfs ridge/one line beer/coffee event next Saturday? Just grabbed some tickets and I am excite. One line has to be my favorite roaster in town and the one line dire wolf variant was amazing.

 

Portside Distillery Ghost Ship seems to have disappeared off the face of the Earth. There were plenty around about 2-3 weeks ago. Anyone in the Cleveland area know where I can find 1 bottle.

 

Ghost Ships do tend to disappear, don't they now?

 

@owen49 I stopped in at Ale Wine & Spirits on Broad today. They didn't get Westfield, but believed their other location in Powell just did.

 

Called cornerstone and looks like they didn't get it.
