Drank Recurrent on tap the other day. I liked it quite a bit. Have some bottles and interested to taste it again.

Had La Bonte last night at the Funkatorium and it was worlds better than Brett Burglar. Solid Brett presence, perfect amount of tartness and just so easy to drink. Also had the Freaky Friday IPA with the experimental hop that smells and tastes like coffee and it really did smell and taste like coffee. I was really impressed. But the star of the night was Recurrant. My new favorite WW beer next to Taketake. Excellent funky nose, delicious mix of tartness, sweetness and bitterness from the currants. They really hit a home run with that one. I walked away from the Funkatorium last night thinking Wicked Weed really may have what it takes to be the next big thing.

Edit: Oh and I had the Points Unknown Stone Collab and it was just okay.

If this is the same beer I remember having I got just stanky stanky weed smell. it was unique. Don't remember coffee. Maybe a different IPA I recall.

Sorry I meant in the bottleshops around the state, specifically in the Triangle area. Should've specified, jetlagged as hell at work.

@CavemanRamblin Have you called old Sam's? They had some last Saturday when I stopped by to share a bottle of Zhukov. Recurrant is hands down the best of the canvas series and reminds me a lot of RR Consecration. If you don't find any, I'll be happy to share my bottle.

I called Sam's Bottle Shop and they didn't have any, got a busy signal when I called the Quik Shop at lunchtime and hadn't tried again yet. Definitely appreciate it!

I'd trade some older Wicked Weed bottles for 1 or 2 if anyone is interested btw. Have stuff like b1 Amorous, b1 Black Angel, Capricious, maybe a couple others.

Anyone know if the brewery has any Recurrant bottles left? I see it on tap. I'll be there sometime this weekend hoping to come across a bottle of two of Golden Angel.

    thx

@CavemanRamblin There's a bunch at Triangle Wine in Morrisville. Was just there for their Founders takeover.

Sam's Quik still has about 6 Recurrant on the shelf.
