Cantillon in Colorado

This all sounds like the Van Winkle and BTAC bourbon releases in the fall. Not worth the hassle anymore.

 

I walked into a store today asking for Cantillon, which I fully expected to be gone but whatever, and there was a case of De Ranke Kriek sitting there. Nobody who came in for Loons wanted it. Little do they know, but that beer is right up there with the Cantillons. Just more evidence that people were out looking for trade bait, rather than a beer to drink.

 

Oh man I am just catching up to all this. This shit is INCREDIBLY fun to read you guys. I have never in my life absolutely hated and loved beer so much as I do right now.

With God as my witness if I happen to come across one of these at a liquor store randomly, I will pop the top and slam the entire thing as fast as I can. I'll even take pics/video for everyone.

 

Can we rename this thread to 'First World Problems'?

Just popped into Grapevine and picked up a sweet little BA B.O.R.I.S.. May not be news to you, but apparently their beer buyer is going to periodically place their loons out for purchase and not announce it. Will be luck of the draw. Have to respect them for keeping it fair and not catering to truck chasers.

I had to borrow gas money from moms to chase a truck around for 2 days when I'm already 2 months late on paying her rent. I'm going to need an extra $20 in cash.

I spend probably a few hundred bucks every two weeks there, make friendly with the staff. I walked in for my loon and walked out 150 bucks lighter (including my accumulated credits), so maybe I'm the ideal candidate to ply with expensive booze. Hoping it pays off when BTAC rolls around

 

Dang I thought I spent a lot on beer.

Cant drink a Jaguar I guess. Definitely feeling better about how much Im spending.
