Whiskey Barrel Rodeo was delicious, as was bomb. Haven't had huna or Mexican cake yet, but I did prefer bomb to pirate bomb.

Well, Xocoveza hadn't been brewed at the time of this thread, and I'm sure it's not the only new spiced stout worthy of a mention here.

I know that Indra Kunindra doesn't get a lot of love, but I liked it well enough.

Also, the Verdi Imperial Stout is an Italian RIS featuring chili that was really good.

Any others y'all can think of?

I was a big fan of 18th street imperial blud, no chilis or peppers though.

My favorite is probably from wrecking bar in Atlanta...though I don't remember the name right now!!! Only ever got to have it at GABF and Hunahpu day. Hunah is my second. And I'm just taking the straight up non-special BA versions.

Replying to myself .. Xocoveza gets my vote now but I've had a Chai Stout at a small brew pub in Denver that kills them all. One of the best beers I've ever consumed.

Not a big fan at all, but I do enjoy regular Bomb. Brimstone Bomb was good as well.

Haven't had much of the pepper stouts, but Huna and Mexican Cake are easily the best. Mexican Cake it best fresh as hell, need to hit it before the Habenero heat melts away. Huna I like to age a bit to let the cinnamon mellow.

I have a hard time finding hot peppers that are hot here, doesn't matter whether they're jalapeños, Habenaros, even found some Ghost Chilies, none were all that hot. I'm almost to the point of buying from on line stores to get hot peppers that are truly hot.

Central Waters Space Ghost is a straight up Imperial stout without any special ingredients other than what I assume are ghost peppers - it was really good with a nice level of heat - meaning, enough to please fans, but not so much that it takes away from the other characteristics of the beer.

Luchador en Fuego was delicious. And I liked Oro Negro more than Xocoveza personally.

I’ve got two, one commercial and one homebrew.

    For homebrew:
I make a Madagascar vanilla bean sweet stout. It has a chewy mouthfeel due to lactose and a huge amount of oats. With just the right amount of roast to offset the sweetness of the vanilla bean, giving it layers of flavor, all in harmonies balance.

    For commercial:
