Does the FW brew store have a bottle limit on this?

 

I was told a four bottle limit, but my girlfriend didn't have an issue getting 5...

 

Currently 4/person at FW tap room.

 

Ok, it's usually X limit per person. So with your girlfriend they would've let you have 8. Can't wait to try this.

 

Yeah that's what usually happens, only she was by herself when she picked them up. It surprised me because I had heard there was a 4 bottle limit. Maybe they were just being nice

 

Anyone know when it will hit Chicago area stores? I get different stories from different people at liquor stores, not sure who knows what they are talking about. Hoping I can get some Monkee soon!

 

Let me know if you need some help thinning out that herd Have a feeling this will be a tough one to get to out here.

 

Will be interesting to see how long it stays on shelves here. Parabola was gone in a day or 2 but you can still find a few anniversary blends and sucaba is still around

 

Just picked up 2 at Hazel's in Boulder CO!

 

It will probably be on the shelves a few months on the west coast.

 

Well your girlfriend does look pretty good looking so that might of helped lol.

Have to agree. And it takes quite a bit of sweetness to get me to say that! Love all the other FW boxed beers though....

 

Bottles hit the back room shelves today in Chicago suburbia. I got a couple

 

This is when I wish that FW would only realize this and other barrel aged beers in CA. I know they release a lot things cross country, but CA deserves a CA release only, makes it that much more desirable for everyone else and gives CA-nians good trade bait. Sure there is Pliny and others, but other options would be nice. I suppose Ill settle for having Pliny the Younger.

 

Had this bad boy this past weekend. I honestly wasn't diggin it very much last year outta the bottle as much as I was hoping. Hear to report this release is fantastic! Not sure what change they made was but it was delicious. Probably should have grabbed more

 

California has a ton of good stuff that is tradable!

The FW Proprietors Vintage releases are some of the only beers we get here in Maryland that are sought after.

 

Hitting stores all over the northern Chicago burbs today. Seems much more limited than Parabola - the store I stopped at said they only got 1 case (got 3 cases of parabola), so not sure if less got sent to Chicago

 

Still not in the Los Angeles area as of today, though it has hit Ventura County. I'm always surprised at how FW stuff can get across the continent before it gets 100 miles away.

EDIT - as of yesterday, it was nowhere to be found in LA. As of today, it has popped up.
