Bottle Share in NYC/Brooklyn - Visiting from CA

    Hi BAs,

    I'm moving to Brooklyn for work for 2 months, July - August. I'm huge into the craft scene in CA and have regular bottle shares. I was hoping to find some shares in NYC/Brooklyn while I'm out there. I'll be bringing some very tasty CA brews (Smog City, Russian River, Firestone Walker, etc) with me and want to share, all while finding new and exciting stuff on the east coast.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated and if there is something in particular someone wants, maybe I can bring it out with me.

    I don't know of any regular Bklyn shares, but there are plenty of us on the board who would probably be interested in putting one together.

    That said, don't bother bringing any FW stuff - we get pretty good distro, so unless it's a brewery-only release, we probably get it here.

    We might get FW here, but some are in short supply. Pretty sure people here would love to get Parabola. On Long Island some stores got only 3 bottles.

    I'll also just be bringing some of my favorites that I know don't make their way out to NYC

    I'm actually heading to Sante Adarius and Barrelworks in less then two weeks. Anything you want me to bring out?

    I'll tell you that what I already have at my house ready to come to Brooklyn:
    Barrelworks Agrestic
    Barrelworks Bretta Rose
    Russian River Supplication
    Russian River Consecration
    Almanac Farmers Reserve Pluot
    and some stuff from local breweries The Dude's (hopefully they can the Blood Orange before I come to NY), Smog City (Kumquat Saison!!), Monkish, Eagle Rock Brewery, Highland Park (Cherry ****z!)

    I assume SARA will be just growlers, so that's asking a lot to keep one of those sealed up for a month until you get here. However, if you have a great seal and some tape, getting that stuff here on the east coast is 90% trade **** (as in, I have had multiple people try to get more than 1:1 Cantillon for them), so anything at all would be a huge cause for celebration.

    I will definitely try to get some SARA over there.

    Can we try to set up a date, time and Place? That way we have something concrete to look forward to.

    I'm almost open to any weekend. I have no idea where we could do it so I'm looking to all you guys to help with that end.

    Yea im not picky either, (Cough), West Ashley! Id be down for this.. Im yet to do any type of bottle share but I have plenty of bottles to share.
