This is prob in the wrong forum so I apologize for that.

What is the best carrier to ship beer? Ups, fed ex, regular mail, other? And why?

Based on price, ease of transaction, time frame, etc

FedEx or UPS, it's illegal to send beer through the USPS

I've had no problems with FedEx. I print my own labels and just drop it off at the counter.

Fedex is cheaper, but I have found that the local fedex guy is an idiot. Print your own label, make sure they scan and give you a receipt, cross your fingers and hope those snow globes make it safe!

Just last week I had a Fed Ex location in Columbus, OH tell me they could not ship beer.

Later in the week I was able to ship home some Ohio St. snow globes for my kids.

I used fedex. Pack it tight, weigh it, Print label, drop it off. No questions asked. Works well for me.

If it is a smaller trade the large USPS flat rate boxes cannot be beat. Anything over 4 or 5 items is fed ex.

Any body have a guess as to what a 12 pack of bottles would cost to ship cross country?

Or just initiate a one time credit card shipment and you can print your own label.
Setting up an account is easy and it saves all the info for shipping addresses and destinations.

    Probably ~$25 with FedEx.

You can create an account for free online and run some numbers to get an idea of the price.

Oh, and I only ship marinades in glass bottles
