I want to be the first octogenarian special release truck chaser! Crashing my Prius into parking lot poles and brushing aside kids buying ice cream!

    39. My wife recently said to me, "I can't believe I'm married to someone who is about to turn 40."

Is it surprising to anyone that this website is dominated by the Millennial Generation in their 20-30's? Not surprising here. All due respect to everyone on this site, but we are the generation who witnessed the beginning, as well as the rapid transformation of the internet at a younger age (between elementary to high school years) and have had the internet in our lives longer than not. I was at the end of my middle school years and getting into high school when my family connected to the World Wide Web and AOL chat rooms were the "thing". Social media (of course BA being one of them) is in our "blood" so to speak. We have come of age in a world with several revolutions, and the internet and craft beer are two of them.

    39. A family member of mine recently pointed out "you're already living your 40th year, ya' know."

    Thanks. That helps.

    22. Surprised how many 20-somethings are on the site. Glad to see I'm not crazy for quickly getting out of the Natty Ice college phase.

Double the legal drinking age. But well preserved.

I never would've guessed I'd become a troubled teen in his late forties, but age ain't nothin' but a number and a growing list of chronic ailments.

Just turned 30 on Sunday! I'm looking forward to this new decade. I started home brewing in 2014 and maybe by the time I'm 40 I'll have gotten really good at it!
We celebrated with some family last weekend and this weekend we had some friends over. My wife made me a "beer cake" which is pretty sweet, layers of my favorite (Hofbrauhaus Hefeweizen) and the old go-to (Miller Light) hahaha I know, it's random, but old habits die hard. I love craft beer and I brew some interesting stuff, but if I do want to drink more than a handful, I'll go with the ole lite beer and chug away. Now that I'm 30, will the handovers get worse?

About to turn 31. Figured most people would range around 26-38 on here. The poll indicates a younger crowd on here than I thought. Wow

There actually was good beer around before the mid-90s. I know (as someone who remembers using a typewriter throughout high school).

As I think I commented on someone's post on Facebook the other day... the age range that counts as "millennials" seems to expand further and further back into the "born in the '80s" range every single time someone brings it up.

I thought the "millennials" were supposed to be the kids who grew up with high-speed Internet and cellphones (as in, born in the 90s and going through their elementary school years in the mid-late 90s at the absolute earliest), not the people who grew up with land-line phones only and maybe an AOL CD (or 3.5inch floppy, before they started sending out CDs!) and dial-up if they were lucky enough to have Internet at all.
