    Sadly, SD kinda sucks for this. Your best bet might be Trader Joe's (though instead of the one in PB, I'd hit the one in Point Loma.) They typically have an offering or two from Saint Archer, Modern Times, Ballast Point, Stone, Firestone Walker, etc., and you can pull as many as you want from a six pack.

    I've managed to grab stuff like Wootstout 2.0 at the Point Loma location before. It's also basically next door to Stone Liberty Station and just down the road from Modern Times's spot. Also just another mile or two down to Fathom Bistro, right on the water, where you can often find draught Pliny.

    Dunno if it’s close enough for you, but Bine & Vine sells singles.

    This is why we need a Total Wine in San Diego. The strengths exceed the weaknesses.

    There are a number of stores in San Diego that have an unspoken policy of allowing you to break up six packs. Whole Foods does this, and I'm pretty sure Bristol Farms allows this as well.
