Here is the beer list developed for my graduation party tomorrow. I tried to include many styles and as many cans as possible. I'm going to Firefly Festival in 3 weeks, and the leftovers are coming with me. Keep in mind, it's outside and the weather forecast is 88 & Humid:

    BP Grapefruit Sculpin
    Otter Creek Kind Ryed
    STB NYFRB
    SNPA
    Sly Fox Pikeland Pils
    21stA Hell or High Watermelon
    Harpoon UFO White
    Founders All Day IPA
Miller Lite (for the non believers)

I'm also going to do a mini tasting which will include:

    Lagunitias High-Westified
    BCBS
    BCBBW
    Xocoveza
    Sucaba
    BA Bigfoot
    SMS
    ...and possible others.

Thoughts? Any obvious omissions from the standard list?

My thought is "what do you need me to bring? Cups, burgers?"

Looks awesome to me. Wish I could go!

Id' ditch the Kind Ryed or grapefruit Sculpin for a low abv non-hoppy style like Anchor Steam, Long Trail Ale or Six Point Sweet Action. But that's just me being nit-picky.

Congratulations on your graduation! Where are you graduating from?

I may grab some last minute, but I avoided DFH since they don't do cans. The Kind Ryed was an exception as I got a case for $20, and the NYFRB is for my brother who loves it but can't really afford it.

Sweet Action is a good recommendation - I may grab a few sixers. Thanks!

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Wilmington University with a BS in Business Management. Not bad for a guy with a full-time job and two little monsters running around the house.

Congrats on your graduation; that's awesome! That list looks great; your guests are very lucky and y'all will have a blast.

"88 and humid," huh? Sounds like 358 days of the year here. Consequently, berliners and goses -- light, crisp, refreshing, low-ABV -- are increasingly popular here because they make so much sense for forecasts like that. Unsure what you might have available in those styles up that way but like I said, the list looks great as is.

Yeah, Delaware turns into Florida weather-wise from June-August.

Sly Fox makes a berliner, and Sixpoint Jammer is available now. There's also DFH Festina Peche, but I'm trying to avoid bottles. I still need to make a run tomorrow for wine, so I may grab a few more sixers. The list has ballooned to almost 80 people.

I'd go with Weihenstephaner Hefeweizen for the non hop heads, and probably choose Torpedo in cans over the SNPA since you already have All Day, and it would be a tad redundant style wise. Some Sierra Nevada Summer Packs would be nice too since you get a good variety there. Congratulations, and good luck!

Add a lower ABV Saison/Farmhouse ale. Drop the Hell or High Watermelon and add 21stA's Sneak Attack; fantastic candidate session farmhouse with a subtle cardamom flavor.

Thats a solid list. My only suggestion might be to add a nice lager to the list. I get you want to stick to cans, but something like Dortmunder Gold would be awesome.
