Anyone know the latest canning date for Trailhead Pale Ale or Headhunter? Just curious before I make a trip to the production facility. Not a big deal.

What's up fellow Buckeyes!? For @Keffa and anyone else nearby, The Beverage Source in Newark has a few things that you may be looking for.

    Barrel Aged Bigfoot
    Grapefruit Sculpin cans
    Wood Ya Honey

    Happy Friday!

I saw 5/12 Head Hunter yesterday, but unfortunately Trail Head still does not make it this far south for some reason.

More importantly they fit on my odd sized bottom shelf of my beer fridge!

My sarcasm doesn't shine through on forums.

At first glance I thought you said they fit in your odd sized bottom!

I figured it was sarcasm so I didn't want to say that I actually agreed with the fact that I liked the can I tried better than the bottle I tried. I'm sure there are a lot of variables in there, but that's what I got!

I thought the draft Grapefruit Sculpin I had was inferior to all the bottles and cans I have had. Weird but true

If anyone could pick up a BA Bigfoot for me I would be eternally grateful. I looked all over for that and seemed to always be a step behind. So many stores told me we weren't getting it and then it showed up and was gone before I could get a bottle. There's no way I can make it out to Newark today.

    Thanks sir

I saw the Wood Ya Honey at Grain and Grape. They had a couple other things that are escaping my brain at the moment.

I will hold on to mine for you if you want and replace it the next time I get over there. They had about 8 bottles left. If not, I will live.

So Grapefruit Sculpin hit Ohio, (in bottles and cans), Willoughby Brute's Quad AND Jackie O's Wood Ya Honey. (wink wink) Good week for beer!!

Had my first Nelson, Duet, and Hoppy Birthday tonight. Seems I am in the minority here, because I thought Nelson was fantastic. Ever since I got big into DIPAs, regular IPAs haven't really been doing much for me until I had this. Probably the best IPA I've had since I had fresh Maine Lunch. Duet wasnt as good to me and hoppy birthday was incredibly mediocre. Not sure why there is hype on that one. I'd take a trail head or an alpha king over it all day.

It pains me to say it, but I like New Holland's Pilgrim's Dole better. Still a tasty beer though. I think it is similar to Brick Kiln

That Brutes Quad drinks like a gem for its ABV! 11.5% and tastes like it would be about a 7/8%'er

Anyone know when Willoughby is releasing Nutsmasher? Thinking about making the drive from Columbus for that one.

I believe it's a lot sooner than that. When I spoke to the brewer at Six One Pour, he said he thought they might do a release in June.

Yes there was an article in the CLeveland Plain Dealer recently that they were doing a June and October release. I'm dying to try it and can justify driving 4 hours round trip to get it since I have family in the area!
