I'll be at the TR tomorrow around midday, I'd say arriving anywhere between 2-4. Any Hoarders members not going to FWIBF going to be around to unlock something for a first-timer?

Thank You Bruery for the awesome sale! I couldn't be happier.

Only bought one thing during arch sales.
    HS Luau glass.
Ive had good restraint with these sales(cause I got'em cheaper the first go around :sunglasses:)

Wonder if there's goin to be any more events/parties goin on this year thats not the bt party?
I loved the barrel party couple of years ago in the downtown area. Hope there's something like that in the works!

I believe that there's a sour tasting towards the end of the year in the welcome booklet. I have a feeling it will be like the recent barrel tasting, though, not like the big barrel party.

If there is a HS here in the tasting room, could I bug you for a hoarders pour?

Else, RS here in the tasting room, green shirt, end of bar with the RS growler. If you need a pour just come say hello

To be fair Papier was never very carbonated. It was close to still when fresh.

Found a hoarder when I went to close the tab. Super envious of the melange 10. Might need to trade for it.

Confirmed (for anyone else wondering). MW 2 days later is just fine. Perhaps even better (sweeter). This opens up many possibilities for future consumption (is anyone else buying more each month than they're drinking each month?) I'd also add that coffee presence has diminished much since Jan (which is to be expected). Probably no reason to hold this one.

HA! I haven't been able to drink all the beer I buy in a month in forever. I'm sitting on a little over 150 bottles right now.

As for your statement though, yeah, most beers won't go bad over a few days if you plug them up with a stopper. I've also experienced the taste getting better after opening the bottle.

As for the coffee, thats interesting as I've had coffee beers that are a couple years old and the coffee is still there, although not as strong as when it was fresh. I would have expected a tiny drop off for Mocha but not a lot.

In FWIBF news, the Rum BT w/ Macadamia & Coconut was amazeballs. No alcohol, just straight dessert. Only "secret" Society pours were SitR w/ Peaches and Melange 10. Also the Sour POG was fantastic. Black Tuesday is such a good beer to add adjuncts to. Would love to see more fun varieties like today's offering.

Also got a preview of the collaboration with 8 Wired. A sour aged with pinot grapes.

I also just opened one and noticed the coffee fell off strong. Still great, but liked better fresh.

I had one yesterday, so much coffee. anymore and it would have been too much. And I'm a pot a day dark roast black and hot coffee drinker. Been known to put some freshly brewed grounds in my cup. I like my coffee strong and crunchy. There was no lack of coffee in the mw I opened yesterday.

I didn't like the Rum BT. It was even worse than "regular" rum BT...but you know, I don't like rum barrels, so there you go  If anyone is like me - you didn't miss anything
Completely agree on POG. It was great. Guava is the new hit fruit, I'm telling you. The mojito Hottenroth was interesting and refreshing.

Ha! Missed that one. How was it?

The Pinot grapes come through nicely and add a great tannic quality. Very excited to see this in bottles. Wish more sour houses made grape/wine forward beers, cause I love em
