The Gaff and Bison County has some pretty solid craft beer selections. I've enjoyed many of the big beers at either location in the last few years including KBS, Parabola, Velvet Merkin, Agrestic, Second Fiddle, and quite a few others...

Jake N Joes is a pretty decent sports bar. The yellow light they flashed when he Bruins scored was a bit much though.

Waltham has a mind boggling number of dives even to this day.. Must be the most dives per square mile in MA.

The bodega business does seem to be booming on Moody. But entrees start around $28 at the Red Bird (good beer there actually)

I'm surprised by how well Moody's Delicatessen is doing. Happy to see them thrive and expand. Red Bird seems to be pretty busy as well. Hopefully it's a good sign for things to come in the area. Garcia Brogan's just opened too.

I really wish that we had fewer dollar stores on Moody Street and fewer vacant spots. I can't wait until they start building those condos where that construction store/Jack Dixie's Roadhouse. That will hopefully help as well

Moodys backroom has Sixpoint Crisp for the lovely price of $9/can.

Bison is my favorite on Moody but still isn't what I'm hoping for in Waltham.

Yeah Joshua Smith's pricing is beyond awful. His stuff is good but 100% overpriced. But how else could he afford to go to the Superbowl? ( )

100 percent over priced? Or just over priced for craft beer?

What I meant to say is that 100% of what he offers is overpriced. Nothing there is good value. Sure the quality is great but holy sh*t is it expensive.

Don't count out jocos. For a decent draft list. Will hit it up if the gaff is too crowded.

25 cent wings Monday - and they're quite good. I like what Joco is doing.

Does anyone have any updates on this? Drove by the other day and it seemed like nothing was really happening

Opening as a beer bar (its own beer brewed @ other locations, in addition to guest taps and cocktails) due to the fact the city hosed them on their brewing license.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I used to love going to that Dunks down there before work and seeing people saunter out of Bullets for a smoke break.

No brewery on premise. Beer from other BW locations & guest taps.

Govt bureaucracy strikes again. They intended to have a brewery there but the city declined it. That was the long delay - BW finally decided to give up & just open a bar.
