Me too I have to give a shout to genny for their cream ale. I think one of the best hoppier cream ales I have had that kept a good maltiness too was hroseheads chemung canal towpath ale. I have yet to see any other cream ales besides these and sixpoint's sweet action. Along time ago,I remember being served a cream ale with a shot of yeast in it. Do they still do that?

DuVig Cream Ale was good. No bottles yet but you could take a drive to CT...Genny's status is iconic. Still the best of the worst.

Newburgh cans their Cream Ale, which is pretty good. They only distribute to NY and NJ, but if you travel or trade, check it out.

Spotted Cow and Black Rocks Grand Rabbits are the best I've ever had. I drink a fair amount of Grand Rabbits here in northern Michigan. A lighter refreshing beer that still has some flavor.

Growing up in upstate N.Y.I was weaned on Genny cream. As an adult I have to say my cream ale favorite is more Sixpoint Sweet Action. It is an utterly amazing cream ale or beer in general.

Please try the Sixpoint and tell me if you still believe that.

Wasn't that an "imperial" cream ale? I liked it very much, too.

Sweet Action and AV SS for sure, add Spotted Cow. I was raised on Genny Cream Ale, so it always has a spot in my heart
