    I can't say that I've seen 7oz nips or 40oz bombers
of craft beer, but I think I'd like to. If you know of any,
please let me know. We've had our Miller nips and Ballantine
bombers, etc., but would you like to see craft beers sold
    as 7oz nips and/or 40oz bombers? Just a thought.

Neither, ones too small, the others too large. 16 oz cans are really perfect.

I'm pretty content with the current bottle/can sizes (12 oz, pint, etc). I might be going against the majority here, but I even like bombers. But agreed with @nc41 that one's too small and one's too big.

Pony bottles are great in the summer if you like your beer real nice and cold!

If I were choosing between the two, I would go for the 7 ounce bottle. Rogue uses these for a few of their beers, but I think this would be ideal for high ABV beers where even 12 ounces would be rocking the boat.

A 40 ounce bottle would make a fun novelty item, but I don't see much practicality when smaller bottle sizes are available.

I'd be down for 7oz bottles of some beers if the price per ounce wasn't extravagant. A good way to try a few different brews when you're chillin alone but don't wanna stumble around all night lol...

I guess it would depend on if they would ridiculously overcharge like they do with bombers. I wouldn't mind seeing 7 ouncers

Lagunitas Sucks in the 32's are pretty close, and they totally ROCK! But I remain a bit miffed that Primus still isn't doing the commercials for this beer.

I actually love the 7 ounce idea. I like to buy a bunch of singles of new beers and, if I like them, buy more to explore more thoroughly. I would love to get 20 different beers in 7 ounce bottles rather than 12 different beers in 12 ounce bottles for the same price as I think the 7 ounces would serve the "sampling" purpose in this process and I'd get way more variety.

Most bombers are too much for me, so I don't think I'd like a 40 ounce, unless it's a special occasion or if I'm playing Edward 40 Hands with Black Tuesday.

I'd like to see a smaller size for some beers, but mostly that'd be something smaller than a bomber for beers you don't want to drink a lot of that are only sold in bombers. I don't think we really need new sizes. What would I do with a 40 oz bomber, anyway?

Didn't Dogfish Head do one of their beers is a 40oz a while back? Included a brown paper bag, IIRC.

When I find a 32 oz. growler to be too much for most high ABV beers, the idea of a 40 seems less attractive by far. 7 oz. is fine as far as it goes, but color me suspicious that the cost per oz. will be even worse.

    So neither.

I grew up on Rolling Rock Ponys. They chilled fast went down smooth, but it was Rolling Rock. I don't want a 7 oz HT, or a 7 oz Bcbs. I don't want a 40 of either, that's for crap beer like King Cobra. Jesus what would a 40 oz Bcbs cost.

tiny glasses means I can try more beers w/o getting soused. Torst does that, and I think it's awesome.

8 packs of ponys would be great for beers that have a high abv . 40's aka G.I.Q.s have been around forever in the non craft market but seem to be on the decline . If I had to choose between the 2 I'd go for the 7 oz.

The 7 ounce nip will cost almost the same as the 12 ouncer so I'm not interested. The 40 ounce bomber would be a good size for sharing, or to hold you while watching a ball game.
