I won't believe anything until we hear it from them. What's the point in posting, telling us you know what the beer is, and then just not sharing the information?

Since I didn't hear it directly from Dan or Deb I still consider it a rumor. My source is in the Fruit Cave and it could be one of a couple. Wild Bitter was not intended on being the first release, it was the first one ready to go though. Either way I'll be there, come find me and I'll give you a pour of Side Project or Crooked Stave Reserves or BC Variants or whatever else I get my hands on by then.

You should share the rumor  speculation is fun

I will be there Saturday most likely, only day I can go

Hmmm, let me think about that! Perhaps first an apology from cheeseheads about being called FIBs would be a start :grinning: But sharing good beer could make up for that!

But in all seriousness the bourbon barrels spotted at the Fruit Cave just may be in play soon

Cases of Wild Bitter were 4 high, 3 deep, and 9 across. There were actually a few extra cases in the back next to the fruits, probably near 150 or so bottles.

With all these vague posts in this thread about next R&D, i feel like I am following Toppling Goliath twitter posts. Can someone just post what the hell they have heard instead of bragging about their connections.

From parts of different articles, I believe you can expect Bourbon Barrel Kriek and a Gueuze (hopefully blended with fruit) as well as something utilizing the other "base beers" from the wild fruit cave.

Note: I don't have sources, Im just basing this off of articles I have read.

When I was there Saturday, they said only two boxes of rhubarb were left.

Not surprised at all with how much Wild Bitter is left. They should just put it to distribution and make room for the next one.

Lots of wild bitter left and no strawberry rhubarb as of 15 minutes ago.

If everyone relaxes the release will be relaxed. Wouldn't it be great if there was beer left over for all the releases they did? no matter what fruit they may or may not use? I think it would so let's make that happen.

Dan told me last year how surprised they where at the turn out some guys from IL next to us said he should do a silent release or something like that Dan said "nah, I'll just make more beer next year."

These aren't gonna get harder to get NG is a big brewery soon these won't be the commodity many people make it out to be with over zealous beer buying.

I'll be there on Thursday morning. Hope that is the best morning (quiet) to visit. I still have to work in the afternoon, so can't spend all day in line.
