I am loving Curiosity Sixteen and Lights On right now, the aroma alone make me smile.

So I just bought a motorcycle. Can anyone recommend a route to tree house from Boston that is scenic and windy (at least compared to the pike? Also preferably not heavy traffic and otherwise motorcycle friendly.

I always aim to drink growlers within one to two weeks, however, I've heard people swear that Treehouse stouts will keep for months. I have a growler of Good Morning left from the last run. Does anyone have experience holding onto a TH growler for that long?

I am trying the same with a growler of TWSS I got a couple months ago. Hoping it ages/holds well. Only time will tell.

This makes me nervous. Their last batch of this beer was phenomenal. I tweeted them and told them so, to which they responded it might be their favorite batch ever. It's my favorite Tree House beer.

In fact, quick power rankings: TWSS, Green, Eureka, Double Shot, Julius.

I held a growler of Triple Shot for about 6 weeks and it was fine. The coffee fell off a bit compared to the fresh growler, but it was still delicious, albeit not as good as the fresh one in my opinion.

I have a buddy who had a 750 of TWSS that sat for about a year due to circumstances. He opened it and reported it as very tasty and no carb issues. Fact: A tree house growler has never sat in my fridge for more than a month. Opinion: if you have a tree house stout with less than 3 months on it, it's probably going to taste good. But not as good as fresh.

TWSS canned would be so great. It can't be too long before that happens can it? I feel like it hasn't been around at all for a while now (even for growlers), has it?

I let my last 750ml of Dbl Shot go for @ 5weeks. i kept it cold in my beer fridge and didn't mess with it. it was gorgeous.

Yes, got a couple cans left myself. Just cracking one open next to my nose is satisfying enough.

My wife and I shared a 750ml of Dbl Shot that was filled May 2nd last night and it was excellent. Kept it sealed and closed in the back of the fridge. Maybe a little less carbonation than some of the fresher bottles, but it still got a finger's worth of head on a moderately gentle pour.

It wouldn't be a very direct route but you could take Rte. 2 West all the way to Rte. 32 and follow that south to Monson. If you take 32A from Petersham down to Gilbertville it goes along the eastern side of the Quabbin and it's pretty scenic and windy.

Did anyone else feel like the latest batch of Julius from the last two weeks was more bitter and less fruity than the previous batch?

I am hesitant to ask this because of how subjective this is, but I am curious to see if anyone else might have felt this.

Maybe... I just never trust my pallet for subtle changes. Now with the batch before this one, I had a sap, followed by Green, followed by Julius. I felt that green was juicier and less bitter than Julius. I didn't think that it was that Julius was not as phenomenal as normal, just that Green might be better than Julius since it was the first time i had Green next to Julius. Of course crushing 3 big IPA's in a row could also impact my taste buds. Either way, they're all good beers.
