I wrote that in April. From all I've gathered, corked & caged 750s @ about $15 each. I'll still buy at least a couple.

I just saw it at Whole Foods in SF for $14.99 as well.
A worker at City Beer Store said that it's a like a less sour version of Sanctification, as it was brewed at Sierra Nevada. He recommended aging it for a year before drinking it as it needs to sit for a bit.

"This is going to be straight Brett refermentation…no bacterial strains.

We had to move heaven and earth just to deal with the Brett in our facility…talk about pedio has folks here running scared!

The beer is definitely tart, but definitely NOT sour. More dry lemony/spice complexity than acidic sourness."

I was at the SN brewery in Feb when they were initially brewing and packaging Brux. It was brewed in SN's pilot brewery in small batches, so it will have to carry SN's label as the primary and go through their distribution network (which def reaches further than RR's). According to reps at SN, it will go nationwide, but focus on their major US markets.

This is late as hell but people like "Retail" are the sort of "craft beer" people that are worse than people that walk into a craft bar askin for Bud Light and complain when told that isn't served.

Next time you have such a negative opinion over a beer or style, keep it to yourself. You ultimately detract from the core of the topic which is the beer.

Picked up a bottle last night at a beer store north of Baltimore (Shawan). Price was $13.99 and there seemed to a good supply. Makes me think that there is a good supply of this beer and that it should be relatively easy to find.

Has anyone seen Brux in Sacramento yet? I can't seem to find it anywhere, surprising with our proximity to Chico and that it's been available in the bay for a month now...

Brux just made it to Baton Rouge today. I picked up a bottle for $13.50 plus tax at Martin Wine Cellar.

Just my opinion but not worth the price tag. Save your money.

Might be a bit early to opine that a Brett bottled beer isn't worth the price. I thought it had some good base to age into something pretty great.

So I should sit on the one bottle I have and let it age some before opening?

If thats the case that a bret needs some time to age then I suggest everyone age it

Buy two, age one. IMO it was suberb tonight. Brett is subdued but very tasty. RR has yet to let me down.

It says on the bottle to age it for many years.
