Uber is probably a stretch there. nominal presence in Danbury, much greater presence down in Stamford. In Oxford, you'd basically need to get lucky that an Uber driver centered somewhere else just dropped someone off in the area. My 2 cents on that anyway.

This Saturday will be my first time going to OEC. Really pumped that it happens to be their anniversary party as well.

I suggest getting there early if you can. It gets crowded on a regular Saturday, I imagine it will be even more crowded for the party. Have fun and see you there. Cheers.

I am an idiot and I have double shot, not good morning. This is what happens when I post at lunchtime at work.

Aaaaaaaaand everyone simultaneously shakes their fist at their computer screens and suddenly has a reason to tease me saturday morning.

It is indeed, should be nice to drink Saturday morning. On another note how is Billy's BBQ?

My plans for getting there early have been thrown out the window. Hopefully looking to get there now around 1 or 2. Any updates on lines and what not would be greatly appreciated.

good times and super cool peeps. got all the good stuff in time and glasses of it as well. peach went quick. 1809 and all the party pack stuff were good. malefactus citrus isn't normally my thing - but was solid & the obvious patented OEC unique factor.

The citrus is probably my favorite of the three versions of that beer. Really wanted to pull the trigger on the 1809 but the price was just a little too high for me. How was the Bouquet de Fleurs? That was the only one I skipped for time and sobriety's sake. Samples of the 1809, Peaches, and Spontalis were all wonderful, too.

My friend was about 45 minutes behind me in line and asked if I was the one who came up with the 'party box' moniker. Not sure how he knew. Awesome weather, good beer all around and a great start to a day that ended, unfortunately, with Bud Light tallboys on Metro North at 3AM.

Thanks to the OEC crew for a great event. I imagine that they've never been bombarded for bottles like that and, while the wait was long, me and my friends were able to grab everything we came for, in addition to trying everything on tap. As it was my first time visiting (had their beers, but hadn't had a chance to go down), it was good to see the space. I hope to get down there again soon.
