The things they added for that blend were interesting. What were they going for?

With how little hazelnut character is there, it's almost like they use the left overs from the GM run. It seems far more likely that they would blend a base (BT) rather than a separate beer.

I'm super excited to see how the flavored meld together in the bottle, should be great around winter!

It appears they fixed it so you can check on how many bottles are left for purchase.

It appears there are two types of people for this thread. Those of us who actually socialize in here about ALL things related to the bruery, including the events and meeting each other...

And those that just want to read about the actual beer.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that those of you who are complaining about too many posts rarely check the thread while those of us who are actually communicating with each other are checking here multiple times a day.

It all comes down to you're not going to make everyone happy. If you don't like it, just skip it. It isn't that difficult. I'm sure you all read twitter/facebook/instagram and if you don't like something, you don't go bitching about it, you just skip it. Its not that difficult to do. (And yes, I do realize that I'm not taking my own advice and skipping the people that are complaining)

To be clear, this isn't directed at anyone in particular, just the complaints that have been popping up here and there.

What do you expect? I'm a self proclaimed fanboy

Plus I had to rock the bruery gear afterwards at the GI event to make sure they knew who the better brewery was

Just to add a different perspective, I thought the Melange #12 served at the Anniversary Party was one of the better beers I tried. Definitely a desert beer and heavily spiced. But I thought it was quite good.

But I tend to be a bit of a contrarian here.

It usually is. The only thing that might be kicked is the culture club since that was the pilot batch, but even that I think is unlikely.

I'll actually be there tomorrow after work if anyone is stopping by.

Wasn't it a apricot and cherry sour? My guess is that it was largely leftover fruit from filmishmish and potentially Sans.

I was told it was it was made simply because they had some leftover yeast or wort from a previous beer and decided to quickly make a sour. It basically came into this world cause they had left over stuff. They also confirmed that in its current state, they would not be able to bottle it due to the sediment. It is possible however they would do it again for the TR.

But I agree, that was an awesome beer and if they can make that somewhat regular then I'll be happy.
