Any word on when WBADPP bottles are going to be released this year?

Is there a reason they wouldn't?

They posted something a few weeks back about it being released in October or November. Tried to whitewash it by saying that they've always wanted to release it in the Fall anyway, but the underlying message seems to be that the batch that was supposed to come out in February (according to their own Fb page) had to be tossed, and this is a re-brew.

Following their Fb page is the only way to get information from them, as they don't respond to twitter questions (or at least, not to mine! )

Thanks for the update. I couldn't find any reference on FB about the delay, maybe the purged the comments.

I will say this - I am happy they dumped it if they found issues in it. I do not know why a brewery would not admit to that as I have respect for breweries that admit they screwed it up and will not release a bad beer.

    At least they are checking.

And, with that said, I think they have to from this point forward. It seems their bread and butter beers have all been solid without issue that I know of....which is great.

But, it has been 2 of the last 3 releases of WBADPP have been showing sign of infection. If they are not checking them at this point, that is bad.

I can't quite figure out how that beer always seems to get infected and yet their regular line up doesn't. My guess is it's how they fill or store the barrels.

Last years WBADPP would have been great except for the over carbonation. Mine was a gusher :flushed:
