Speaking of little gems found some Kriek de Ranke at Toast today. So much easier than chasing trucks.

Did this ever get any traction? I tried to set up a bottle share when I first moved here but didn't really get any replies. Would love to interact with the beer community more.

I do a bottle share every 1-2 months if anyone is interested. We've been moving the location from house to house. I'm in the Springs, but we've had one so far in Lakewood, so Denver isn't out of the question. Next one is actually Saturday night :-)

No loons have shown up as of yet, but no reason that couldn't change!

I'd be interested, I just feel like I never have anything NEARLY worthy enough for the most of you guys, haha. The best thing I have right now is a 2013 Snowed In from Copper Kettle and a 2014 Dry Dock Double Coffee Porter.

I'm game with nearly everything I have up for a share, the problem with me is scheduling around my one year old.

I'm always up for a good share, do you have any threads for it or email chain? Would love to be part of it, especially in Denver. I'm in Riverfront Park and would be down to host on occasion as well. Got lots of good stuff I'd love to open with some guys.

And yeah, no kids yet. I've heard they're wonderful but makes going to shares a little harder I'm sure.

Have an email thread going (started off BA). If you're interested, send me aBM with your email and I'll include you on the list. Next share is tomorrow night at 7 in Colorado Springs. After that, some time in July?

    Cheers! I've got a 3 year old, so I understand scheduling

There's enough of us with 3 year olds or less... we should start a Dad Bottle Share...

I can picture it now... we can take over all of Station 26 with our kids, running around like maniacs as we completely ignore them... it'll be exactly like S26 is now! (The previous comment is an indictment on Stapleton and not S26; they make rad beer, I just wish they weren't where they are)

Food for thought: this drop out of all drops had the most stores keeping their allotment and either offering it to their best customers, or doing some sort of in-person lottery, or even randomly putting it on the shelves over the next few months. All involve supporting your local/nearby store.

So for all those butt hurt over truck chasing scalawags, chances are their success was low as most stores have figured out the fairest way to distribute these.

And I like to share, so that Framboos & BVDL might show up at some event in the future...

Somewhat related - I've been seeing more and more Girardin around town. It's sometimes forgotten, but can scratch the lambic itch.

If those that sat in front of stores for hours upon hours like creeps to snatch up a bottle of something coveted just to send off to other locales wanna justify that behavior... be my guest. You all have your prerogatives and opinions and can do as you please. I also can have the opinion that you're a bunch of goobers and this is why we can't have nice things.

    Shhhhhhhhh.

    Srs.

Love the funk of Girardin. Although I think it needs some age to peak.

I think we should start a craze over a mythical beer and see what happens. Sort of a social experiment.

Oh, man. This new barrel aged stout from Toidi Brewing is awesome!! It's almost unreal!

And then pool all of our money together and make it. Sure, it'll be awful and a onetime release but think of the temporary glory and the $$.
