I went to the 2nd ever release of Dinner last year, but that was on a Thursday afternoon. I've never been to a 7am release on a Saturday. Anyone who's been to a 7am Saturday release want to recommend when to get in line and have a chance of getting this beer?

    Thank you and God bless!

Dumb question: is Dinner released only at the brewery ? I thought I've heard / read that before

Went to the last one, got in line at around 7am and was able to get beer, but had to wait around 6 hours. I think it was due to the poor preparation on Maine's part. I believe this time they will be more organized and it will move faster.

I'd have no problem getting in line around 5am or so, but wasn't sure on the wait. I agree I think this time will move faster as they said they will have multiple purchase areas and a ticket system.

This will the 2nd time this year so far, last release was supposed to be 8am on Saturday but started early. They had the worst checkout system in the world. They better have a cash only line. I got there about 5am and didn't leave until about 10:30

yea... i don't think i'm going to go to this one. I've was able to get it and enjoy it once and I think that is fine with me. There are so many great IPA/DIPA out there that you can pick up with no hassle

Agreed, at this point it just seems like every brewery has to have a hyped up release with people waiting in line for hours. I guess they feel it legitimizes them somehow.

How much does this beer cost at the brewery?

Would love to try this one of these days but burned out from waiting in line at other releases. That's time i could have spent drinking beer

Unless it's changed, the two releases I went to it was $8 per bottle.

It's 8 bucks a bottle with a limit of one case.

For those simply looking to try Dinner, it's available on tap at MBC following the release for a solid week or two usually.

I got there right around 7am last time (they were literally hanging the "OPEN" flag on the porch as I walked up.)

Out of 700 cases, I got #660 or so. I can't make this one, but I'll likely drive up for the August/Sept release and I'll make sure I get there by say 4am or 5am for that one.

I can't imagine I'll be waiting in line this time, but I highly recommend swinging by the tasting room as the Rural Juror (awesome username, fyi) suggested. It is a beer worth making the trip for, particularly when it's so fresh. And they don't gouge you on price for the pours, at least not last time I was there.

Speaking of price gouging, they are releasing a session IPA this week and charging $7.50 a bottle... Did I mention it was a session IPA.
