Stout BIF Round 4 Hints & Hauls

Very glad to hear you dug it. The albums were two of my favorites, and bands I was unexpectedly able to see live in the last two months. Walked out of the shows inspired to spread the gospel.

That Fortnight is indeed their porter, and is IMO the best English Porter I've had. Pretty damn perfect.

Man cannot live on stouts alone (or at least probably shouldn't), so I decided to mix it up a bit. That being said, those Event Horizon's are drinking like a dream. Been holding onto that vertical for a special occasion, then the rep did a vertical on draft at a local bottle shop a few weeks back. I got to try them, so the gain became yours.

Cheers! This was my first BIF, and a hell of a lot of fun. I hope I came close to the absolute porch annihilation that @core42 put on me!

 

Thought I would post here first....I am looking for a 2011,12, & 14 Chocolate Rain. Seeing if anyone has any and was interested in some Mexican Cake, or something else.

How far can you travel?

 

San Jose is probably your best bet. A few places that are good are: ISO Beers, Original Gravity, a surprising place is Harry's Hofbrau (if their beer menu is up to date Pugachev's Cobra is on deck). How long are you staying?

 

Next Tuesday SARA is doing a tap takeover at Original Gravity and Good Karma Cafe in San Jose

Just muddled some pineapple and toasted coconut.... deglazed the pan with 2013 bourbon county.... it's all sitting in a french press right now. Pineapple Coconut BCBS coming up in about 20 minutes

Not so much as we're still waiting for a box to land from slvrmon that was stated to have left DE back on Friday, headed to WI. It either hasn't landed yet, landed with no announcement, or was never actually sent. Personally I give roughly even odds to all three.
