That place is huge, they probably have a lot left of everything.

I just checked and the difference between stopping there and Mr. Bs is about 10 minuets. Debating now, any opinions?

If you want a really good citra hopped beer that you can find fairly easily in a 6 pack at a good price - I recommend Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA.

Fresh Squeezed is damn good. Elysian Space Dust is another. One that's super cheap is Widmer Citra Blonde. Not an IPA, but it showcases that hop.

I usually love Deschutes products but I find Fresh Squeezed a little one-note, also astringent and a little thin. The descriptions of the difference between draft Backcountry DIPA and bottled are making me crave a draft one, which I do not believe I've had.

As soon as I get back from Virginia....(sitting at Root Down DIA drinking my breakfast as I type, and it's a good ole Odell IPA...)

I want to like Fresh Squeezed, and I like the hop profile, but the few times I've had it it had a really weird mouthfeel that I just couldn't get over. Almost like it was full of floaties, though it didn't appear to be.

I have not tried Space Dust. Is that available right now?

Fresh Squeezed has mosaic, which has a flavor that gets old quickly for me. Rampant from NB and some of Green Flash's new beers also have that. It reminds me a little of berries, but it leaves a lingering chalkiness. I usually love it at first, but I don't know if I've ever had a 2nd one. One of S26's beers also uses it, but they have some old school bittering hops to balance it out.

Yup, it's a normal or at least a seasonal release. I think they're freshness dated, but definitely make sure it isn't old stock.

There's some in town right now bottled 4/21 (dates are on the bottom corner of the label). I drank one last night, still tastes great

Yeah, I get a weird soapy feel... I grew up drinking Deschutes and wanted this to be my go-to, but something has seemed off to me no matter how many times I try it. Good, sure, but not a go-to I was hoping for.

I had this at Elysian last year and really enjoyed it, but it came after a wet/fresh hopped 100% citra IPA that NOTHING can compare to as far as I am concerned. Maybe I'll go pick up a bottle on my lunch break

Skip the hassle of driving around Denver. In fact, go to Small Batch first (just a few blocks from Molly's). Hit Molly's after if you still require more beer.

Pliny and Hop Savant Citra may be hanging around as I just grabbed them at Mile High.

Probably worth mentioning in this thread - Mountain Sun. If they're in here, they're a few pages back.
They almost always have at least 3 hoppy beers ranging from strong pales, to IPAs, to DIPAs. Hop Vivant was considered the best hoppy beer in CO for a long time, and if you like beers like Pliny and Sculpin you might still think so.
They have 5 locations now and apparently at least one more in the works.

Pliny is something I will absolutely drive around for. Any guesses on who will have any left tomorrow around 8pm?

You may have luck tomorrow at Applejack, but 8pm on a Friday? I doubt anywhere I'm familiar with will still have it.

You can try Argonaut. They always seem to be a day late with beer releases.
