Thomas Hooker Liberator Doppelbock in/around New Haven

    I just moved to the area and I'm looking to get some of this beer since I hear great things about it. Even though the brewery is only about an hour north and this beer appears to be a year-round, I can't find it in any stores. Anyone know the story on this?

    I'm pretty sure the New Haven Amity Wine has a few 4 packs at the end of the domestic shelf. Also on tap @ Plan B in Milford. Someone checked in on Untappd a couple hours ago

    I'll give Loading Dock a shot first, since I was just in Amity the other day and it was missing from the row of 4 or 5 Thomas Hooker stuff they had there.

    I believe I saw some on the shelf at New England Beverage Co.....which is like a mile away from Loading Dock.

    The times that I have seen it at Amity it has not been with the regular Hooker offerings. It's always on the shelf just before the aisle split near the computer station. The shelf contains specialty 4-pack and seasonals. Hooker Imperial stout can be found there as well. With that said, I have not looked for it recently so not sure if its actually in stock. If it is then thats where you can find it.

    But how long will all those items brought in across the border actually be there? They're breaking federal and state laws, not to mention stealing tax money from the state, and we all know how CT is about their taxes...
