I'm not an IPA guy, but I really enjoyed Devil Dancer too. I bought a 4-pack once upon a time for $22 and thought "Why the hell did I pay that much for an IPA?" and vowed to never do that again. Which I didn't, BUT I found myself buying it every single time I saw it on tap.
For a summery fruity beer, Rubaeus is pretty good. I could safely buy that to share with the wife.

KBS probably wouldn't even make it here, and if it did it would be tiny quantities bought up by the truck chasers. Harvest Ale (one of my all-time favorites) is often hard to come by even in their existing markets. The last couple years i lived there I usually had to hunt to find any in Milwaukee, and could only get a few bottles, a 4-pack if I got lucky, and it would all be gone in a day or two. I'd be happy to see Two Hearted, but I'm skeptical if it would get here fresh on a consistent basis, and whether it would sell enough to avoid the usual situation where a few months after it gets here there's a bunch of old beer sitting on the shelf

When it comes to hoppy beers, I'm honestly starting to think we almost have too many options, and it makes it that much harder to ensure all of them are always fresh. Maybe I'm more of a freshness **** than others, but with all of our options I'm not buying an IPA more than about 6-7 weeks old.

I love a lot of Bells and Founders beer and it would be great if it could work out well for them to come here, but I'm not so sure it would

I think in terms of freshness it looks like both Bells and Founders ship to Arizona and Bells goes all the way to Southern Cali so I think their distro could get it to CO fresh. I'm hoping their fear isn't that their stuff would sit on the shelfs, I guess I can only speak for myself but if they just sent their flagships out here I would definitely be a repeat customer

I hope they could get it here fresh, but I've seen some old Bells beer on the shelves in Cali

At least they both bottle date. I will never understand the breweries that enter this market with undated hoppy beer. Though Founders bottle dates tend to get smeared and unreadable pretty often

All of this freshness stuff is mostly about the hoppy beers of course, but that's most of what I buy for stocking my fridge. I'd love to get Founders Porter and Breakfast Stout and wouldn't be so worried about freshness, within reason.

Sure hope they show up in CO since we're down there all the time. Was in Smith's Liquor in Rapid City, SD yesterday & was told Founders will soon be in SD. That would really be cool for us.
