Noon Whistle is great and the 32oz crowlers on site are a good deal at like $8.

So many good breweries cranking out so many good beers, all over the place. It's an embarrassment of riches.

A few reasons for this: so many experienced, talented brewers out there now. Professional equipment. Good sanitation and lab work. Excellent product stream for ingredients. Many enthusiastic customers, and more all the time.

Don't see any mentions of these yet:

Off Color- not so much under the radar but putting out some great stuff. Can't wait to try their recent collab with Jester King
Local Option- one of the best beer bars in Chicago and their Outlawger is a killer session brew
Lake Effect- newer brewery putting out some interesting sours. Try to find their Vielle Blond

Middle brow... Had the milk eye mender twice in the past week and it is excellent! I can't speak for their other beers

I had a bottle of Lake Effect Session Brett last night and was really impressed. I'll sample more of their stuff when I get a chance.

Pipeworks is under the radar? Have you heard about this little brewery in Munster called 3 Floyds?

So many options nowadays, and more keep popping up. I've not seen anybody mention Temperance yet. Also, some good stuff in NW Indiana, such as Devil's Trumpet and St. John Malt Brothers look promising.

Mikkerphone is going to blow up. Had quite a few of their beers at the Welles Park Beer Fest a few weeks back and was left loving every one.

They were serving this at Beermiscuous for their sour fest during CCBW and it was horrible; didn't look anything like the picture. It was like scummy red pond water. I was sort of shocked they were even serving it with how horrible it looked and tasted. Interesting that it seems much different from the bottle.

The Off Color Jester King collab was awesome. Wish I picked up a second bottle.

The Lunar in Villa Park is excellent and a bit forgotten.

Lake Effect is awesome. Vielle was one of my favorite beers of this year. Their brett series is great, too.

    For my contribution:

    Spiteful.

God Damn Pigeon Porter is a delicious year round, and Bike Messenger Appreciation IPA is a great fall seasonal.

Temperance. Can't get it where I'm at, but a friend brought me back a six pack of Gatecrasher IPA. Thought it was a pretty good English IPA, nice balance. Same goes with Spiteful and Off Color. Of the limited beers I've had from these breweries, I've liked them all.

I don't know about the other locations, but the one in Downers Grove is terrible. I won't even order beer there anymore.
