I have failed to buy a Lamborghini Aventador LP 700–4, but I don't regret it. I feel the same way about the Schaerbeekse Kriek, which is still always on the shelf for $40/750ml (I think) at my local shop. My "failure" must be that I'm not rich.

There's a whole row of Founders Triple IPA on the shelf at my favorite beer store, and I don't see me grabbing a 4-pack until the price is a good deal lower than the $17.99 that it is now. That's not to say I didn't grab me some KBS at $5 a bottle, it's just that the reviews for the Triple haven't been stellar.

I remember passing on lots of Cantillon when it was always on the shelf. St. Lamvinus in particular. I bought some, but I wish I had bought a lot more. I bought 8 King Henrys but passed on many many more. Damn. I also remember passing on bottle after bottle of corked and caged La Folie. Ahh hindsight.

agree with the OP about nemesis (both years). i would add not stockpiling BCBS 2 years ago when we were practically drowning in it, and not going harder after another bottle or 2 of king henry when it was possible (without sacrificing 1st born/limb/etc).

That's a very over priced supplication....easily found in California for less than half that...should be easy to trade for too!

Imperial Biscotti Break. I was like "meh, not my style per se." Then I saw a guy walk in the store, buy 6 of them and leave without looking at another beer, and I thought "maybe I should rethink this." And I left without one. Kinda sucked.

C&C La Folie. I was just getting into beer and saw this strange looking bottle with its unique label and hanger tag. Took a look then noticed the $20 price tag and laughed. This was the last time they made C&C bottles. If only I had known...

On a recent trip I had a few at the Marble Brewery in Albuquerque, forgot that they had bottles to go. Would have been very happy with another few four-packs of Elevated IPA from La Cumbre too. Especially because I had plenty of room in the car to bring them back with me.

Nothing major but still in the "shoulda" category.

King Henry. I had just started getting into cellaring and purchased a case of BCBS. That was hella expensive for me at the time and having hardly heard of KH, didn't realize how amazing it was going to be. I only picked up 2 bottles in the end, could have gotten a case or so.

It's more like $35, but it's on sale at Binny's for the low, low price of only $32!

Mine is Rare. I was at the release and the limit was five per person at $45 a pop. I *only* bought three because I couldn't justify spending $250 on five beers. I'm just glad I went though as it involved taking the day off work and standing outside for three hours in sub-zero temperatures. God that was a cold wait.

Temptation 750's at a Whole Foods. Damn things sat there for $21 each for probably a year. Actually had a buddy send a couple away as extras.

Single 341 ml bottle of BrewDog Sunk Punk for £12 (about $18.50 US).
But if it had been brewed on the International Space Station or the Sea of Tanquility I wouldn't have hesitated.

Total Wine in Springfield. I instead went with the Founders FMB. If the inverse thread, "beers you wish you didn't pull the trigger on" pops up, that will be my entry.
