Fire protection engineer. I don't think anyone ever goes into this field intentionally, kind of like proctology.

Thanks for the thread--great to see the diversity of BA folks at a glance...

Well that's what they told me in the college of education I attended, anyway. There are days I feel like I make a difference, to be sure, but there are more days when I'm glad I have tasty beer to come home to. :stuck_out_tongue:

Highly diverse group of higher end occupations. No one works at WalMart and lives in their parents basement? Is that not cool to gloat about?

sports editor for a daily newspaper ... I used to be a sports reporter, but the 2005 Texas-Texas A&M football game is the last thing I covered.

like many an English major geek, I'm also a part-time (at times a *very* part-time) fiction writer -- novels, short stories and about the worse poetry nobody's ever read :flushed:

Bankruptcy paralegal and full time single father (guess which one I prefer?!). If I continue with this beer trading stuff, I may become my own client. Hell, the single father gig may be just as likely to put me in that position...

Growler Station operator. Fun gig! They told me I'd make money selling growlers.... But I just end up spending it all on the beer I order, since I end up ordering stuff I want...

I'm in the IT Audit profession. Hence the reason for drinking massive amounts of beer.
