    Read my submission. I think I win. 12oz x 24 bottles = 288 fluid ounces. $10 / 288 ounces = .03 cents an ounce.

That's what they cost wholesale. Nice grab.

I was lucky. I don't know how many were put out, but I grabbed the last three.

I know I'm going to catch shit for admitting to liking Rogue, but I was at one of their pubs when they were having a blowout sale, and they had bombers of their pumpkin beer for $2 a piece when they're usually $13. It was out of season, but it still tasted great, so I didn't care.

    You would be wrong, sir.

Seriously, even though people on BA are usually way too hard on Rogue, they're 100% correct about the Voodoo Doughnut beers. They're so, so bad.

This last year (Fall 2014) may have represented the "Peak Pumpkin" phenomenon. I, along with my team members, reported seeing more pumpkin beers sitting around on shelves (and we are still seeing them in June!) than any other year in memory. Even some of the most popular of the pumpkin beers are still lingering around in some parts.

Apparently Lagunitas is having a fire sale. Gnarlywine for $4.79 (22 oz). And I found Evil Twin Moltov (13% ABV) for the same - $4.79 (22 oz). Unbelievable.

I saw a 4-pack of Goose Island IPA (16 oz. cans) today for $4.99. I don't really enjoy the beer, but that's a pretty stellar price.

A couple years ago, a store near me had Sixpoint Otis and Diesel 4-packs for $1.99. Thought it was good for what I paid. Didn't notice until my 5th can that they were 2 months :grimacing: beyond the Best By date. Odd because I've never seen Sixpoint around before or since then. Still, for 50 cents/can, I was pretty happy.

A few years back I acquired several bottles of Dieu Du Ciel's Solstice D'hiver for $1.99 a bottle. It's one of my favorite barleywines.

I just saw my local supermarket add into their mixed 6 pack selection Founders Black Rye, Dark Pennance, and some Ommegang stuff. All these are 4pks selling for about $12 that I could mix into a $9.99 6 pack. Felt good about that.

I could see the NY area hitting the bubble on pumpkin beer. When I was one the retail side of things last year, the products were hitting in early August and the displays were getting bigger and bigger. Watch retailers do a knee-jerk scale back on purchases in 2015.

Guessing Wegmans !? Also guessing "they" didn't add it to the mix six. It's people who grab and mix expensive singles out of 4/6 packs when they shouldn't. Those extras then get added to the "crap" of the mix 6 arsenal.
