Twin Cities Bottle Hunt

yeah? i saw they were $20 a pop and wasnt sure about trying them. what reviews i did find, werent great, but they were also for the non-barrel aged version.

 

I haven't had the base beer, but it did very well in barrels. I'd recommend you try it (at least the rye version, I didn't get to try the bourbon).

I did just review it if you'd like a little more detail.

 

I will have to pick up one each of the Night Falls bottles. At $20 a pop I will think they will hang around for awhile.

 

I hope you're right. There was a line for bottles the whole time I was there, though.

All 3 brews blew my expectations away (which were pretty low)... Kudos to LTD for a solid first BA offering...

 

What was the crowd like at LTD today? Was all this activity taking place in the parking lot adjacent north of the brewery?

 

Pretty mellow overall - just enough people to be full but not too crowded... They had set up a tent and stage in the parking lot.

 

Anyone know if I can get Night Falls still? Or just a brewery release?

 

The only liquor to sell it was Liquor Store and More across the street from the brewery. I'm not sure if they sold out yesterday or not.

 

I know it's not fresh and a long shot but has anyone seen any left over Abrasive anywhere......thanks.

 

Still at heritage as of Friday. Also seen some at sarrack's but might want to call ahead.

 

Blue Max, Burnsville possibly might have some still and usually discounted if it is still around right now.

 

I don't think it's a long shot. Call around a few places. I've seen it more often than you would think. Recently I've seen it at MGM and Total Wine (IIRC...in the cooler in the back) in Woodbury.

 

Might have to make the drive to Woodbury soon.

unfortunately not, i went yesterday and its gone. plenty of bombers of zeelander, light speed and 1492 though

 

Both the Zeelander and 1492 are incredible this time! Very dank.

 

I agree. I've especially been enjoying Zeelander. 1492 wasn't as dank as MoZee, but it was pretty dank and darn good.

 

Anyone know if all the LTD bottles are gone?
