Some of you may have heard that the wife and I got a wicked big plot at the locall community garden.

First returns: Swiss chard

Tomorrow I'll have to harvest kale. Tomatoes and hot peppers are getting close.

It looks like a summer of salad and beer.

 

I thought you were going to say it was your sender just effing with your head. Hat would be an intense phone call.

@Dave_Treat is the man! My group of 10 dudes were stopping at Adroit Theory on our way back up north and he went out of his way to meet us for some of the same beer he up had yesterday AND he informed me/us about a killer BBQ place:

It's already been taken off, but that is BACON ON A STICK!!

I got home at 7ish, moved two boxes inside and fell onto the couch. I haven't moved since. Will open tonight!

Not sure if a bunch of dicks on a wall is better or worse than when drinking NYE a few years ago a buddy literally fell and put his ass through my wall.

Actually.... this might not be a bad idea. Things like AAA member numbers (not for roadside use, just for online discounts) and things like that might not be a bad thing to crowdsource within the group.

 

I'm sure Kevin or I can make this happen.

 

Or me as of recently, at least on a far more limited basis.

 

Hell, I bet we can get group insurance now.

 

Okay, as I explained to @alwaysplayin, I've been attempting to buy a house this weekend so I'm a bit behind on posting. Sorry about that. My box had a slight problem as the SWTFYM beer bottle broke in route (judging by the remaining shards in the box, the bottle was literally crushed). Fedex was nice enough to rebox the remaining beer and deliver the box the same day. So here we go:

Almanac Farmer's Reserve Pluot - Love this beer. So delicious.
2014 Abyss - Excellent. I needed some for a vertical.
Xocoveza - Delicious, of course
Figueroa Mountain Lizard's Mouth IIPA - this looks delicious and I've definitely never had it
Modern Times Black House with Chocolate and Coconut- Oh damn.

Here's the letter and the remains of the fallen amazing beer that is SWTFYW Ale (so I've been told).

Wow, what are the odds that SWTFYW Ale (Olde English) was the one to break!

 

And it had such low bottle count. Going to be really hard to replace that whale...

 

AA Box is going out tomorrow. I'm still not sure if my target is on to me or not so here are a few content hints:

• I think I hit a grand total of ZERO wants...yet I think this is the best box I've ever sent
• Everything is a "style want" of IPA/Sour/Stout
  
• Overall rating of 97 (weighted by oz of course)
  
• You've had 5 of the beers before, but gave them an overall rating of 4.8 caps on untappd.

 

Is BBA Biscotti Break sitting on shelves there?

 

I know of a place that has a few, they put them on the shelf one at a time and the usual guy I talk to wasn't there Sunday but I believe they still have some. Interested?
