I've not been paying attention and don't even have a spreadsheet, but this definitely sounds like me since I give so many 5s...

 

Sure as hell wouldn't be me... I hoard 5's. They are prrecioussss....

 

I just sent Trade Requests to a few of you. These are for transactions that are already completed, for example many done IP at The Locals Share 1.0. We might not get trade feedback for LIFs and ninja boxes, but I figure when we do actual trades we might as well give ourselves credit.

Whereas, through October of last year (the last time I downloaded my data from untappd), I had given 213 5s for 4014 checkins (5.3%), and a number of those were duplicates (as you'd expect... I like to drink my 5s). I had 106 unique 5s out of 2926 checkins (3.6%). #toughgrader

 

I assume "October of last year" means 10/2013, but even still, 3000 unique check-ins in 20 months? Nice work!

edit: I'm dumb, I just realized you probably do mean 10/2014, but you mean from then back to your first check-in, not from then up to now. Definitely time for a new data dump though!

My rate of giving 5s is significantly higher, from today back to when I started using Untappd i'm at 16% on total check-ins and 14% on uniques. In the past 12 months only, I'm at 14% total and 11% uniques. I've gotten a lot more strict, but also am drinking much better beer.

I grade pretty much on a bell curve though. So many 3.5's...

Yeah, from when I joined untappd up to October 2014. I'm at 5,364 checkins, 3,954 unique now, so still 1300 checkins and 1000 new unique beers in 7-8 months. It'll do

And agreed, time for a new data dump. I just need to get around to actually finishing my API program that will pull the information I need. Some of the information the way the extra is done for supporters I don't like and want to be able to organize it a little differently.

 

I have seen more photos of husky gentlemen on this site in the past couple days than I care for...

 

Why you hating on me?

 

This is relevant to my interests.

 

A number of my 5s are from a while ago and was a much easier rater. Some of these have newer checkins that aren't 5s (so I'd say those aren't a 5 in my book anymore), but I've struggled with whether I should go back and change those ratings to have a better idea of what my '5s' are. Russian River Little White Lie, Southern Tier Choklat, Lagunitas Brown Sugga', Founders All Day. All good beers, but I don't think I'd give them a 5 now, and don't think I would have given them a 5 then if I were using the same scale I do today.
