@-N8 A lot of breweries opening in your absence. A good time to drink beer in NM.

By the way, as far as the NABA awards, not sure what, if any, weight those carry with BAs, but I think people will really want to make note of Boxing Bear Brewing. I haven't been there in a while but they impressed me when they first opened and I continue to hear nothing but good about them.

Meh - most BAs think a classic beer served in a shaker glass too, so I'm not concerned with what most think.

    :grinning:

NM is fast becoming a prefect place to drink lots of great beer and that kicks ass. Plus it ain't crowded, the scenery can't be beat, it's not too hot & it is never humid, what's not to love?!

    Giving this thread a bump.

La Cumbre's Anniversary party is next week (actually, going on all week, but 12/13 is the Ryeot on Rye release). Sounds like a lot of good stuff is going on.

What I've heard so far: There will be kegs of the barleywine that went into rum barrels and became the 4th Anniversary beer.

A dry-hopped cask of Ryeot on Rye will be on the bartop at some point, probably on Friday. From what I've heard, La Cumbre opted to not dry-hop the Ryeot on Rye version that will be in kegs and bottles.

@miggs3030 you coming down for this?

I don't think I can do it this year. Too busy for the holidays.
