Does anyone know where would be the best bet for finding a 1/4 or 1/6 bbl keg of Murphy's Irish Stout? I have a family friend requesting it for an upcoming 4th of July get together.

    Thanks in advance!

If any local Irish pubs carry it, I'd start with them. Maybe they could rent one out to you or direct you to someone else. Probably a longshot, though, since so many people walk into such places to order a Guinness rather than a Murphy.

Find out who the distributor for Murphy's is and ask them who does keg sales. It's in their best interest to ease the sale, and they should have easy access to exactly the info you're seeking.

Call the Beer Junction. They probably won't have it on-hand, but they can maybe order it.

this is my fall back plan, but I wanted to probe the ol' NW board for some possible insider info first. Thanks everyone :grinning:

Uber might be able to get you one, too.

Edit: it's a Heineken brand product, so whoever has Heineken here should be your best bet.

We should be able to get you one. When do you need it by? Distributor carries them in the 30L size (basically a pony keg- about 63 pint size servings).
