    Looks like there is a new brewery coming to OC ... Chapman Craft Beer Company ... head brewer is Brian Thorson. Anyone familiar with this situation? Location seems to be near Chapman University in Orange.

    Formerly Head Brewer at Drake's (5+ years). Also, looks like this Beer Company an extension of Haven. Here's an older BeerPaperLA article about him:

    Had it last night and caught the playoffs. Split 3 ways, which I think was the right number.

    Still haven't opened my Trace of b1. This b2 was a real treat though. I think we all agreed it was worth it. Had one of their IPAs which was enjoyable.

    Chris, the president of TAPS, came by and we chatted for a while about upcoming beers and plans. Some exciting things coming down the pipes.

    Encinitas Ale House & Public House La Jolla both get lots of Against the Grain beers on draft, including Citra Ass Down last month...was delicious! Was at EAH last night and they had a few new ones on.
