Last time I checked TRVE had that growler club... but I don't see it on their site any more. Are they filling growlers and half growlers for the non-committal type these days?

Yes. There is no growler club anymore, only a bottle club. Growler fills starting July.

Correct no club anymore but just an fyi, growler fills will be with only their containers. If you have an existing growler from one of the past clubs you can use that otherwise you need to buy one of their new ones.

As much as I hate that policy, I am a huge fan of their artwork and I have always wanted one of their growlers. So I will be oblige them on this case. But shitty policy.

When I rock my TRVE hat it's incredible how many people comment and call it trev or terv. Mostly trev.

I'm embarrassed to say I didn't know but thanks for the info! I need to get over there and try some of their stuff. One of my childhood friends is in a band that played at one of their events and I still never made it there (dummy move for sure!)

Is this just their policy? I'm making a trip to Colorado in August and wouldn't mind bringing back a few growler fills from various places that fill, if possible, and no need to bring my own if most places do this. I don't mind purchasing them, just want to make sure I don't bring any unnecessary cargo with me.

Just their policy for now. Colorado is great for growler fills. Most places will fill any growler as long as it's clean. Some places won't fill clear glass and others do put a sticker on the growler but no need to buy one if you have your own

Any brewery that won't fill another breweries standard 64oz growler is just being greedy. I remember when the glass used to go for $2 and now places want upwards of $10. What the hell do I want a bunch of different jugs for?

I'm assuming since all they've ever had was 32oz growlers that will be the size.

Speaking of which, I have a bunch of extra growlers (especially 750 ml swingtops) that I don't need. I'm in Edgewater if anyone wants them for free. I can provide a specific list once I'm home and have a chance to go through them.

As an aside, their sour bottle club, OUC, will begin taking new members starting tomorrow at the brewery. $66 for the year.

I have to stop in and get my last set of bottles from this year. Might as will fill the growler while I'm there
