Mexican Cake 2015

HOT TIP ALERT!!! Earth Fare in Charleston (West Ashley) got 2 cases unexpectedly today. I found out from a good friend and went there myself. The 'unofficial' limit from the lady working in the beer section told me I could get 3 bottles. Most of what was remaining was behind the counter on the refrigerated shelf. $12.99 per bottle.
There was still over a case left after I got my bottles!

 

IDK about that, I though Bomb! was fantastic - that being said, I've had Cake too many times to count and only had Bomb! once. Rarity (I'm in NC) and circumstance always plays a part.

 

That depends on who you deal with and what you have to offer.

 

There's a ton of Bomb on the shelf at Bestway, IMO it's over priced for what it is, and not any spice whatsoever. MC is just more so for the style, Bombs kinda flat chile flavor. I realize one uses Habanero one doesn't, but the bit of spice is what separates.

Thanks for posting, I was stalking the internet since 6pm trying to find the list, particularly since I skipped cause all my beer drinking friends were either being cheap or grown up (work tomorrow, kids at home, can't get drunk on a Wednesday, blah blah blah). Looks like a killer list, but it does make me feel slightly better that no other BA variants were there. I sure its still an amazing time though. Have fun, Edmund's Oast is my favorite restaurant in the city.

 

I'm hoping they will have them on draft at the brewery in the next weeks.

By the way earth fare is sold out.

 

I heard they wouldn't be ready until October-ish. It was nothing official, but it was from someone who would certainly know.

 

Curious as to how many people were there, what the food was like, and how long the kegs lasted. Any word from those that were there last night?

So is this a BA Coffee Cake or the regular Cake with Coffee added? And where the hell did everyone see this get released?

 

#7 on the menu is the only BA MC.

I heard less than 100 cases. If that's the case, can't see anyway it's distro'd.

 

From 1-6 on the menu are ONLY on draft/tap/keg(s). It'd be awesome to see all those variants in bottles.

 

I want coconut cake bottled now that my coffee cake wish was granted.
