I believe the hoarders have been covered ad naseum. Seriously...say something when you're there. Bitching here does nothing...

Now onto the beer, WOW! No BS, one of the best beers I've had in recent memory. Love it!

When I went inside to chat with my friend upstairs. Deb showed up in his office and looked out the window and saw "someone" with their car and a "bunch" of bottles taking pictures. Needless to say, she was not happy and was going to say something to those peeps. Probably the same peeps you are talking about.

This could turn into a witch hunt really quickly. It's true that going through the line twice using any method is shitty, but let's be careful before we just start blanketing all the people in this picture with accusations. The only person we know for sure that has taken part in these sorts of dealings is @HOPSareKey AKA MartEllo, but even then we don't know that he did it this go around.

I just think given how these Internet-based "policing" things have gone in the past (see Reddit's Boston Bombing debacle, though that's obviously far more serious), we should try to remember everyone is innocent until proven guilty. Angry mobs often forget that.

The days of innocence are over. We are like the rest of society,we will have to establish laws that will inconvenience the rest of society because there is a 15% criminal element within the group . We had our little perfect idealistic community for a while, but as always, greed and lust for more took over

I realize that, but it doesn't mean everyone in the picture is guilty. We don't know who is and who isn't based on that picture. That's the dangerous thing.

Who said everyone in that picture is guilty? It clearly says some guys. It's a picture from their FB. I thought it was amusing a few of them were being called out. It's nothing more than that.

I've been to the last two KBS releases at Founders. They have used an online ticket system for those two years and it works great at stopping the hoarders. Founders only charges $5 online for the ticket and they give that money to charity. You must bring your ticket with you along with ID and on the proper day that you purchased your ticket for. If you don't show up on your specific date with your ticket and ID, it sucks to be you.

The only bad thing with those two online KBS events is that you need to be online immediately when they begin ticket sales or you won't get one of the two primary dates (they sell KBS for five days, Tuesday through Saturday). Saturday is the only day that you can purchase KBS in bottles and have it on tap at Founders (they even had CBS on tap this year!). Many people got stuck in an online waiting room thinking they would get to purchase their ticket at any moment - only to wait about a half hour before they gave up. Then it was too late to get a Friday or Saturday ticket. Regardless, the online ticket system would put a stop to Mr. 16 bottles.

I personally think they should take your name down when they wrist band you and mark your hand after showing proper ID. There's already (2) employees doing the wristband/ marker. One carries a tablet and enters your name, which puts it alphabetically in an "Excel" sheet. The other person wrist bands and marks your wrist. If you decide to "try" and go through again, when you show your ID, they can check the spreadsheet on the tablet. Seems simple enough to me, but what do I know.

I've seen places take names before and it just takes way too long, especially for the quantity NG does. CW has done online ticket sales too after their 15th anniversary party and its been nothing but a great improvement. I realize it is more work for the brewery but it cuts down on so much B.S. Personally, I'm happy to pay 5 extra bucks to cover for the processing and majority going to charity. Regardless of what option they choose, I'm confident the folks at NG will take care of it.
