I feel like I'm in the top 5 right now.

 

I'm clearly not eligible, but this thread needing some beefing up.

1) What is the best beer and why? Last Snow because it tastes like the heavens. As if the heavenly father made coconut and coffee solely for the benefit of this beer.
2) Why do you want to win this LIF? I don't want to win this LIF at all. In fact, I'm not even eligible.
3) What style of beer is your favorite and why? Double IPAs. I love hops, but they are better with malty backbone. (It's strange that I picked Last Snow for Question 1, huh? Probably because there are so many great beers and Last Snow was the last amazing beer I've had.)
4) What's your favorite beer story? The one where a blond, brunette and redhead walked into a bar...
5) Why did the chicken cross the road...or in the alternative, what is black, white and red all over? A newspaper, with chicken poop on it.

 

Sometimes they eat their own chicken glasses.

Not eligible, but answering just for fun:

1) What is the best beer and why?
If I answer WB Gose, do I win? But really, Union Jack IPA is probably the best. Super fruity, middle-of-the-road ABV, nice and crisp, affordable. Or Short's Alter Spalter. One of the best beers I've ever had.

2) Why do you want to win this LIF?
I want someone else to win. There are two ways to get Westbrook beer in this world: fly to Mt. Pleasant, or get a box from Joel.

3) What style of beer is your favorite and why?
Loving fresh, hoppy pilsners right now.

4) What's your favorite beer story?
I have a feeling that my current kerfuffle with FedEx and @LehighAce06 will become my favorite beer story...

5) Why did the chicken cross the road...or in the alternative, what is black, white and red all over?
A half-eaten zebra!

 

It's a good one, we'll have to post it here once it's resolved... which reminds me I need to check in on that.

 

1) What is the best beer and why? Last Buffalo in the park is my favorite, hands down. Very Flavorful with such a great combination in the Trace Barrels.
2) Why do you want to win this LIF? Because its like winning the lottery. One in a million chance! Hey you never know
3) What style of beer is your favorite and why? I really enjoy sour beers. It takes my taste buds on a roller coaster ride
4) What's your favorite beer story? One time I tried to win a LIF
5) Why did the chicken cross the road? because it was really hot outside and it saw an Ice cold beer on the other side of the road

The only thing I wanted to say is that my favorite beers are when you have worked physically hard during the day, the beer taste much better then OR shared with good friends. Beer is improved greatly by the situation

Shower beers are pretty sweet, but I haven't drank a beer while taking a dump yet

My favorite beer times always include drinking with friends, everyone I've met in the beer community has a lot of similar personalities that I love

The esteemed panel has been behind closed doors for nearly 18 hours. The suspense is killing me. It's like waiting to find out who will be the next pope. Will we have an announcement soon? Does the pope shit in his hat? I see white smoke. News to follow shortly?
